Should I consider coaching?

"Coaching is for those who are emotionally and mentally healthy and ready to grow.

The emphasis on a coaching relationship is on action, accountability, and follow-through."

-Margaret K. Olubiyi

While we all have different needs and face unique challenges at various stages of the journey, I truly believe that each individual deserves a supportive team,

...and everyone needs a coach.

"Everyone Needs a Coach" -Surgeon, Atul Gawande

  • Therapy is focused on delving into the past to help heal trauma that is preventing daily functioning for a client who is "stuck," and who may be encountering issues of self-harm, destructive eating/sleeping cycles, panic attacks, substance abuse, financial challenges, suicidal thoughts and/or toxic relationships.
  • Mentoring usually occurs organically or informally, when a 'wise guide' offers expertise to a younger and less-experienced novice in the field.
  • Consulting provides specific solutions to individuals who want to achieve concrete objectives that are usually external and measurable in nature.
  • Coaching is a collaborative partnership when clients are supported in safe space to explore where they've been and who they want to become now...
